Screw pushers

Vol. 27 #2, November 2000 Screw pushers go unused for long periods of time, so make sure the threads are protected with oil during storage. (Store them on a rack to protect the threads. Make sure they are labeled to identify the machine they are assigned to.)

Be careful when using screw pushers, particularly when the extruder motor is used to move the pusher forward. (Be sure you are clear of the wrench in case it slips.)
