EditLong Sleeves (Gauntlets)
Long sleeved gloves or gauntlets are to protect arms from burns while working around dies, or in locations where there is any potential for polymer spraying out of the machine. There are leather and fabric types.
At the very least, wear long shirt sleeves.
There are many different types of gauntlets and please make sure to always have plenty available. Be sure there are no holes in them. Discard when holes appear. They are most useful for die work and handling molten polymer during startups.
