EditHi-Temp Anti Seize Compound
This is a must for all extrusion processors and must diligently be used on all bolts, transducers, threads, and screw shanks to prevent high temperature galling and seizing. However, it is also probably the most misused tool. Anti-seize compound is extremely useful for preventing binding of metal metal contact surfaces which are subject to heat. However, many people apply excess amounts of the material which can build up in screw threads. Remember to apply and wipe off the excess so only some thin film remains.
